Monaco Government expects 25% growth  of Indian Tourists

Giving an insight into the various activities and luxuries that tourists can enjoy in Monaco- one of the most serene destinations in Europe, he said that it was encouraging to see a steady growth amongst the Indian tourists visiting Monaco.
H.E. Patrick Medecin further said that while in 2010 there were 1200 travelers from India, this number grew to around 1500 in 2011 and we expect 25% growth in Indian travelers visiting Monaco in 2012.
He added that travelers from India have an appetite to explore the unexplored and an urge to experience Europe’s best on offer. Our objective here is to showcase Monaco as one of Europe’s finest destinations for the people who settle for nothing but the best and are looking for unmatched quality. Year 2012witnessed a considerable increase in day-visitors, room-nights and MICE movements from India and Monaco  is hoping to see some more growth in these numbers in the coming years.
During the road shows which are being organized in India, Monaco Government Tourist and Convention Authority, the travel trade and media will be given an opportunity to speak to its key representatives including Mr. Jean-Francois Gourdon, Director of Communications and Public Relations, Mr. Eric Marsan, Marketing Director and Ms. Corrine Kiabski, Press and Communication Manager.
