Actor Johnny Lever at the celebration of Aashayein, an initiative by WAH and IDF (Indian Development Foundation) distribution undertaken by Wah Foundation and Indian Development Foundation through their initiative Aashayein. The children from Vimla Foundation were being facilitated with stationary items ranging from notebooks, pens, pencils, geometry sets. 
The afternoon started on a high note with musical performances followed by introduction and presentation on Aashayein sharing details with the pledgers who lend their support to this beautiful initiative. Through Aashayein, close to 2000 underprivileged students across Ashram School (Akola), Gyaansathi School (Govandi), Vimla Care Center (Versova), Eight schools run by Azad Mitra Mandal (Dahanu) for children from tribal community, Shade Bal Gurukul(Bangalore) and 71 students studying under Kandivli flyover which is run by Teresa the Ocean of Humanity Foundation received stationery like books, pencils, etc for an entire academic year at school. 


Shashank Shetty, Founder & President of Wah shared, “Aashayein was a small step , an attempt by us to reach out to children and provide them with stationery who do not have access to it. We are extremely happy with the response and support we got from our pledgers. Your dream comes true, when you dream for others.” 245 pledgers who pledged their support and made this task possible were also part of this unique celebration. Actor Johnny Lever was seen mingling with children and ensuring everyone had a broad smile on their face.
