motherboard and elite Strix GTX980 Tigraphics card have combined forces to set a

Schier (‘Dancop’) and Roman Hartung (‘der8auer’) paired Rampage V Extreme and Strix
GTX 980 Tiin a build with an octa-core Intel® Core™ i7 5960X
processor, Ripjaws4 DDR4 memory and a PS1250P power-supply unit (PSU) from
G.Skill.
Dancop and der8auer pitted
their ASUS-equipped powerhouse against a suite of hardcore benchmarking tools,
including HWBOTPrime, wPrime 32M, Cinebench R11.5, Cinebench R15, GPUPI for CPU
and Geekbench 3, setting sevennew global first places for 2D performance.
The crack
overclocking squad also tested their mettle against the world’s toughest 3D
benchmarks, including Catzilla 720P, 3DMark Vantage Performance, 3DMark 11 Performance,
3DMark Fire Strike and 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme, claiming one world record
