IRS Hemant Tantia and his Family Salutes Real Heroes of Army and Air Force

Just a week after prime minister Narendra Modi’s surprise visit to Pakistan, an Indian Air Force base at Pathankot, Punjab—about 50 kilometres from the heavily militarised border between the two countries got attack and seen as an attempt to derail recent peace moves by Pakistan and India.
Five militants and seven Indian soldiers have so far been killed during three days of fighting. Their families are in a state of shock, but feel proud about their sacrifice. The Indian army is being thanked for their service and dedication towards the country by everyone. Recently IRS, Deputy Commissioner of Customs Hemant Tantia who was in shock as New Year clicked with a sad news for the whole nation. Hemant Tantia and his family “saluted” the efforts being made by the real life “heroes” who save many peoples. Hemant Tantia has made an video featuring his family to salute the brave hearts who died fighting for the nation.
Hemant Tantia said, " Let us not forget the heroes in the Army and the Air Force that work selflessly for us. Our soldiers are heroes in the truest sense of the word. They selflessly guard our borders with their lives. I wanted to dedicate an video "Bharat Maa Ke Santan Hain Hum" a non-commercial patriotic song. It was a day of lot of honour and pride for me because I became a voice for them amongst their own. And I got a chance to reach out to the real heroes of our land who are out there slogging day and night on a platform called democracy in our country. I salute the Indian Air force and army."
