Papacream welcomes you with a pastel coloured striped wall and playful decor elements like pink bicycle bar stools and a bright yellow ferris wheel with jars of colourful candy. An ice cream café with two levels, the ground floor boasts of a slick counter with a spiral staircase leading up to a cozy seating area on the mezzanine. The store has a clean, modernistic design combined with up beat colours - to put it simply, Papacream has all the makings of a happy place; the stuff of dreams! With an exciting vision and an extraordinary menu.

Papacream puts a different spin on the average ice-cream experience by turning it into a sumptuous epicurean affair. The menu, thoughtfully curated over a period of time, offers a variety of delicious frozen sweet, as well as savoury ice creams, sorbets and drinks with an array of toppings designed to mesmerise and titillate your senses. They include baffling options like dessert Sushi (Ice Cream used to re-create a sushi) served in a bento box, Horlicks Ice Cream with Mini Nutella Pancake Rolls, cheddar pepper jalapeno ice-cream with spiced nachos, and not to mention the harmonious fusion of Indian street food and ice cream that comes to life with the Pani Puri Sorbet (Puri Baskets containing potato espuma and pani flavoured sorbet!)

Among the other creations on the menu is the Masala Chaas – A sorbet created with a magnificent blend of spices and buttermilk, there's no better refreshment on a hot, sunny day. While the 'Cereal Killer' ice cream, made with cereal seeped milk and cereal crunch serves as the ideal choice of comfort food. Inspired by Milkbar NYC, this one's a winner for all those who love the milk leftover in the bowl post a good old cereal binge! Adding to the exhaustive and colourful inventions on the menu is a range of drool-worthy toppings that encompass red velvet crumble, orange crackling candy praline, cookie crumble, chocolate-coated almonds, frosty loops, fresh strawberry, cheesecake crumble, and a whole lot more!

Commenting on her experience, owner Tanvi Chowdhri says, “Food has always been an intrinsic part of my being, and was the reason for my pursuit of working under a chef on the weekends despite my finance job on Wall Street, New York. It was then that I realized my dream of wanting to make fine, gourmet ice cream that would break all barriers and stereotypes and create an experience of frozen delight.” Tanvi Chowdhri, the founder of Papacream studied mechanical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University after which she moved to NYC to pursue her career in finance. While working as a proprietary trader on Wall Street, she traversed the kitchens of her favourite chefs. It was then that the objective of creating unique, quirky, beguiling gourmet ice cream was decided on. After exploring different techniques of churning, Liquid Nitrogen was found to give the best results in terms of texture and thus began the Papacream journey.
