VOLKSWAGEN TO SHOWCASE THE MOST POWERFUL POLO GTI AT DELHI MOTOR SHOW 2016
Mumbai, January 28, 2016: Volkswagen, Europe's leading car manufacturer
is expected to add a heavy dose of excitement to its vast line-up of carlines at
the Delhi Motor Show, by announcing the unveiling of the Polo GTI for its
Indian consumers.
Designed to suit the requirements of automotive
enthusiasts, the Polo GTI has earned a reputation world-over, for being among
the most powerful, dynamic and thrilling carlines in its league.
In line with Volkswagen India's #Think Ahead. Think New philosophy, this
would be a 3-door carline, a first of its kind in the Indian market. Ticking all the
boxes of exhilarating performance, power and comfort, the Polo GTI is
guaranteed to make heads turn with its striking redesign with instant
recognition.
Taking cues from Volkswagen's racing pedigree, the GTI comes
with a larger, more powerful 1.8 litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine mated to
a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
The car will be unveiled on February 4, 2016 at the Delhi Motor Show.
