Crowded places attract the attention of terrorists and other attackers. Crowded places provide criminals with an ideal opportunity to disrupt the lives of thousands of people, most of whom are distracted by whatever is happening then and there. A crowded occasions can be a political rally, a sports event, celebrating national days etc.
Topsgrup being your security partners wish to share some basic precautions which help to keep you safe in crowded places.
Crowded areas are less likely to have law enforcement policing and keeping individuals safe. Stay away from large crowds and find areas that are sparser to enjoy the celebration.
Be aware of your surroundings. Know where the exits are located and spend just a few second mapping out a potential exit route.
Arrange a meeting place with friends and family. This is a good idea in any crowded place, under any circumstances. People get separated in the crowds.

Big crowds can also mean a bigger chance of getting sick. Make sure your vaccinations are up to date before you go to the event or any crowded public area. Bring hand sanitizer if possible and wash your hands after touching surfaces such as door handles and railings.
If you start to feel dizzy, overheated or nauseous, ask for help immediately. Be sure to let people know if you have medical conditions or allergies. A friend or event official can make sure you get medical attention as soon as possible.
With big crowds, you may have long waiting periods for security, bathrooms, food and even entering and exiting the event. Have patience with staff and other people — they don’t like waiting in long lines, either!
