Young & vivacious designer Aprajita Toor is all excited about her collaboration with acclaimed designers Shruti Sancheti, Gaurav Jai Gupta - Akaaro, & Vasundhara Mantri for Amazon India Fashion Week AW 2016.

Aprajita’s collections depict a unique blend of different Indian cultures with a dazzling touch of highstreet fashion.

For Designer Vasundhara Mantri, Aprajita has designed a collection inspired by nature giving a very earthy feel to the whole line. The styles are a fusion of ankle boots blended with a Kolhapuri touch along with a back strap, teamed with an elegantly beautiful motif which goes in sync with Vasundhara’s collection.

Inspired from the Islamic architecture of Istanbul, Designer Shruti Sancheti’s line ‘CONSTANTINOPLE’ projects a strong platform to create an interesting collection by Aprajita. The mule peep toes sandals with block heels and traditionally quilted fabric adds a global appeal to the style. The colour palette used are in the shades of deep blues, greys and gun metal in satin & denim, perfect for the Autumn Winter.

For designer Gaurav Jai Gupta’s collection the inspiration for the shoes come from Gaurav Gupta’s take on the elements of nature existing around us. It is about a deeper insight into the role of Elements in the essence of life and the quest of life after death, ideas which are real & fictional in equal parts. The colour palette consists of greys, gun metal, black and aluminium silver with different styles of boots, shoes etc.

On this occasion Designer Aprajita excitedly states, “Understanding & integrating the feel & thought of a designer onto the footwear, to create an aesthetic solemate is a big challenge. The end result though is highly satisfying creatively and it surely justifies the long hours of hard work spent in making the collection."
