Indian Dental Association to Organise Free Oral Health Check Up Camp

On the occasion of World Oral Health Day, Indian Dental Association (IDA) is organising a free Oral Health Checkup camp at IDA Head Office at Prabhadevi. The camp will be conducted on 21st March 2016, from 11 A.M to 7 p.m where IDA dentists will be conducting the camp and will be sharing tips regarding the best oral health practises.
World Oral Health Day (WOHD) is celebrated every year on 20 March. It is an international day to celebrate the benefits of a healthy mouth and to promote worldwide awareness of the issues around oral health and the importance of oral hygiene to looking after everyone old and young. Because 90% of the world’s population suffers from oral diseases in their lifetime and many of them can be avoided with increased governmental, health association and society support and funding for prevention, detection and treatment programmes.
IDA is trying to increase awareness regarding the importance of Oral Health amongst the masses through its various initiatives and activities. Through this camp IDA is trying to reach out to the common people and create greater awareness regarding the benefit of healthy mouth for a healthy body.
