RAI Retail Leadership Summit 2019

2019: It is that time of the year when the Indian retail industry stalwarts and
global retail experts come together to have a stimulating exchange of ideas on
shaping the future of retailing in India. This forthcoming edition
of the Retail Leadership Summit (RLS) organised by the Retailers Association of
India (RAI), will be held at the Hotel Renaissance Convention Centre, Powai,
Mumbai on 26th & 27th of February.
Speaking about the
upcoming summit, RLS 2019, Kumar Rajagopalan – Chief Executive Officer,
Retailers Association of India, said, “Fondly referred to as the ‘Kumbh Mela’
of the Indian retail industry, RLS 2019 is where we bring together an eclectic
mix of over 110 biggest and brightest in retail to focus on creating new brand
salience and experiences to help increase mindshare and thus marketshare. The

RLS 2019 will feature addresses
by industry experts like Kishore Biyani, Group CEO, Future Group; Hari Menon of
Big Basket; BS Nagesh, Chairman – Shoppers Stop, Rafique Malik, Chairman, Metro
Shoes; Lavanya Nalli, Vice Chairperson, Nalli Group; and Vineet Gautam, Country
Head, Bestseller Retail India among other stalwarts. The event will witness the
release of knowledge reports from the Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte and
Anarock and panel discussions with head honchos sharing business insights and
deliberating on all things retail on a macro-level.
The highlight of RLS 2019
will be a free-wheeling one-on-one conversation between Menaka Doshi – Managing
Editor, BloombergQuint and Kishore Biyani – Group CEO, Future Group.
Furthermore, sharing
global trends will be international experts like Stephen P. Laughlin of IBM
Corporation, Prof. Dr. Michael Feindt, Founder of Blue Yonder GmbH, David
