Pune/India:
May 13, 2019: Schaeffler’s Automotive Aftermarket division offers expanded range
of repair solutions for tractor clutches under LuK brand. LuK is the leading
manufacturer of clutch technology, supplying to all major tractor manufacturers
(OEM) worldwide and in India. The LuK Tractor portfolio offers one stop
solution for tractor market by providing Double & Single Clutches, Clutch
Discs, RepSet and Lever KITs. To match the increasing demand of tractor
segment, LuK added 70 more references in the aftermarket in last 6 months. To
complement the range extension, LuK clutch is now available in more than 350
distribution point across India.
Explaining the new offerings Mr. Debasish Satpathy, Vice
President, Automotive Aftermarket, Schaeffler India, said, “India tractor market has seen tremendous growth in last few
years, on the back of rising inclination of farmers towards high powered
tractors to increase productivity. Schaeffler recognizes the crucial requirement
of tractors to ensure consistent performance while operating round the clock on
the fields. These tractors parts & service solution require long service
life and cost effectiveness as they are designed to meet the special demands of
agricultural businesses. The noise and vibration reducing attributes of these
components by LuK ensures a consistently smooth drive, while guaranteeing
better damping characteristics at all engine speeds.”
He further added, “Being
the innovator of LuK double clutch, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket provides
an intelligent solution for the replacement of tractor clutches.
Its unique design utilizes the latest clutch technology for improved cooling
& heat dispersal. Also, it increases service life due to an extended wear
reserve of the internal diaphragm spring and extra safety feature in PTO
clutch.”
For the tractor segment, identifying the right spare part can
often be a tricky and time-consuming task. In many cases, it is difficult to determine
what parts are needed until the removal of the old clutch. In addition to this,
complex links and number of possible part combinations makes the job even more
challenging. All this information or data cannot be fitted into a single
document thereby Schaeffler’s Automotive Aftermarket division has derived a way
to collect the large amount of data, processes it and then successfully
transfers it into a catalog (www.repxpert.com) & mobile application format (Parts4U). This makes identifying
the right parts easy, fast, and precise.
