Indus Triumph joins MSPL Fleet 
as the Third Ship


MSPL Diamond Private Ltd, bracing up for receiving its third newly built vessel, complying with the latest emission standards in force, in the series of four Post-Panamax bulk carrier vessel of 92,500 MT to bring an exceptional new level of service to our customers. MSPL Diamond is a wholly owned subsidiary of MSPL Limited. While the first & Second vessels were delivered in April and July 2011 respectively, the third vessel was delivered on 4th Nov’12. 

MSPL Limited had placed an order with Taizhou Sanfu Shipyard, China for construction of 4 Post-Panamax (92,500 DWT) type dry bulk vessels. MV Indus Prosperity and MV Indus Fortune are already in operation. 

In a colorful handing over ceremony held at Jiangsu Province in People Republic of China on 4th November 2012 Mrs. Lavina Rahul Baldota Christened the name of third vessel as “Indus Triumph”, during the occasion Mr. Rahul Kumar N Baldota, Executive Director, MSPL Limited said “This is a momentous occasion for MSPL to place our third ship into service. This is a testimony to our commitment to our customers in constant value additions to our shipping service portfolio and reinforces our resolve to grow shipping as a major business vertical, even amidst volatile global maritime scenario”, 

“We are incredibly proud and excited to announce the addition of “Indus Triumph” to our fleet. Our venture into the shipping is continuously being strengthened. Even though the current state of dry bulk carriers is at its lowest, however, we are seeing the tide turning with the economies of China and India resolutely, boosting domestic consumption and thrust in infrastructure augmentation. We are optimistic that 2013 will begin with recovery and will move towards stable dry bulk markets”, said Mr. Narendrakumar A Baldota, Chairman & Managing Director, MSPL Limited.
