Mumbai : On the joyous occasion of Raksha Bandha, Shaan and Sagarika, the singing duo spent half a day at the Uber Mumbai office, jamming to some of their memorable tunes along with thousands of Uber riders from across the city. Between 11am to 1pm, Uber riders had the special opportunity to use ‘Happydemic Songstruck’ view on their app and send song requests. The singing duo interacted with their fans, and also received song dedications from callers to their siblings .
Shaan and Sagarika reminisced singing 50-50, introduced a new single ‘Tum Ho Toh, Main Hoon’ and even reached out to their fans back home by singing a song from their Bengali album together, which was originally their father’s composition.
Overwhelmed with the love and support on the special occasion of Rakshabandhan, Shaan and Sagarika said, “It was a delightful experience celebrating this special day with so many fans and of course, each other. It was indeed an unforgettable and unique Rakshabandhan! We are so grateful to all our fans for always showering us with their affection.”
For this on demand, Uber teamed up with Happydemic, a digital platform for live entertainment. The audience could also catch all the live action on Shaan's facebook page and engage with the duo on twitter using #UberSongstruck.
