Mumbai, 13th June, 2017: Express Bike Works (EBW), world’s fastest bike care startup launches its 31st store in Mumbai within the IOCL's pump at Deonar. The store is a one-stop solution for all two wheelers, offering full-fledged services including 2-minute automated motorcycle wash, detailing, health check-up, express maintenance and 24x7 on-road assistance.  Founded in 2013, EBW has in less than four years set up 31 stores across the world. EBW is present across Nepal, Indonesia, Thailand, Rwanda and Colombia apart from India.  EBW is designed and developed indigenously, the machine can wash the dirtiest of a motorcycle in under 2 minutes. The environment-friendly design recycles and reuses water, keeping operational cost low. EBW is tested and approved by several Indian and international motorcycle manufacturers. EBW has so far serviced over 2.5 lakhs bikes and saved over 12.53million Liters of water.

Starting 2014, EBW has successfully serviced over 2.5 lakh bikes till date and is the fastest growing franchise network in the world. Commenting on the store launch, Niraj Taksande, Co-founder EBW said, India has close to 52,000 petrol pumps with IOCL & HPCL being the market leaders. This association has given us a much-needed boost to sign-up and set up a store in the least time. Location being the major asset in the retail business, petrol pumps provide us enough traction for an early store breakeven. EBW has been allotted space to operate in these petrol pumps across India We will be opening another 70 stores this year.”

He further commented, “Over years, we have perfected the EBW machine's quality, functionality, and manufacturability. Additionally, the unique business that EBW has ventured into has led to several other innovations while perfecting the franchise model, be it a mechanical, electronic or an IT challenge, we have upgraded and equipped ourselves to come up with indigenous solutions. The current version of EBW machine is a testimonial to our engineering capabilities.”

About EBW: Founded in early 2013, Express Bike Works is a brand of Entropy Innovations, an engineering innovations company that has disrupted the two-wheeler service industry. The team, alumni of IIT & IIM, has designed and manufactured India’s first fully automated motorcycle wash machine that addresses multitude of problems faced by an individual owner as well as a service station. The machine is capable of washing even the dirtiest of motorcycle within 2-5 minutes, which is the fastest in the world, capable of washing over 230 bikes in under 10 hours.  Starting with a few retail touchpoints in Mumbai under the name – ‘The EBW Store’ the company has now forayed into international markets. The company has one manufacturing unit in Mumbai. The “EBW Store” promises to offer its customers an unparalleled experience in bike care and on-road assistance anywhere in India. The machine has been designed and manufactured in house by the team and has a provisional patent. It is extremely efficient in conserving water and power and requires one fourth of the water a conventional wash care requires. Furthermore, the water is recycled for constant use until it is deemed unfit for wash care, which then can be used for gardening purpose. The technology is supported by a strong IT backend and can be virtually monitored from the remotest corner of the world. The store creates employment opportunities for individuals thus contributing to the overall progress of the country and the economy. The EBW concept has improved the overall working conditions for the employees involved in the Bike works industry. A true “Make in India” venture.
