Mr. Shashi Kiran Shetty bestowed with ‘Global 

Indian Maritime Personality’ award by 

Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry 

and Agriculture

Mumbai, January 10, 2013: Allcargo Logistics Limited’s Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Shashi Kiran Shetty was felicitated as the Global Indian Maritime Personality at the recently held Conference on Vision for Port Lead Development of Maharashtra. The event was organised by Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (MACCIA). The award was presented by Mr. L Radhakrishnan, Chairman, JN Port Trust, in appreciation of Mr. Shetty’s relentless contribution to the global logistics sector.
On being felicitated with the award, Mr. Shashi Kiran Shetty, Chairman & Managing Director, Allcargo Global Logistics Limited said, “Logistics in India is at a nascent stage compared to the West and there is a lot we can do to bring in efficiency and effectiveness. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup.
