Unanimous praise for 2013’s first release Table no.21

Mumbai 4th Jan 2013, Eros International & NextGen Films’ Table no 21 that saw its release today is already cynosure of all eyes, given that it’s the first release of the year 2013 – Not to mention ,the return of veteran Paresh Rawal to the villainous genre.

Having traveled across Delhi,Hyderabad,Pune,Ahmedabad on promotional tours for the films where fans crowded to meet the starcast at various press conferences and meet and greets.

Says a source “Fans would gather at airports and malls to meet Pareshji and Rajeev proves yet again that his female fan following grows by the day as tons of fans would mob him not just while promoting the film in the country but even while shooting in Fiji….Several came up to them and told them they were keen to watch the film”.

The Table no.21 team also find themselves excited with the reviews coming the film’s way.

Said acclaimed critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh “Table no 21 ,which sets the ball rolling in 2013,truly symbolizes a riveting thriller .The film is a commendable movoe-going experience.If you are an extremely choosy moviegoer who watches select first-rate films a year,make sure Table no 21 is included on your listing”.

Says Madhureeta Mukherjee,Zoom “For a story that stays focused on the lead couple, and a game-show on an island, Aditya Datt has done a good job of entertaining, serving some suspense (intriguing, if not nail-biting) and dishing it out with some hard reality bytes.If you’re looking for a different taste for your cinema palates (minus the mirch masala), book a seat for Table No. 21. Bon appetit!”

If that wasn’t all, producer Viki Rajani along with director Aditya Datt showcased their film to a select section of the film fraternity that has been almost unanimous in their praise, calling the film a concept drama, high on content. 

Said director Prabhudheva “ I really enjoyed this thriller including the songs and I’m confident it will touch the right chord with the audiences.”

Sonam Kapoor too was also praise for the film stating “This movie shows you that high-concept films are here to stay. One of the most on the-edge thrillers I have seen in recent times with huge surprises all throughout.” While Neil Nitin Mukesh added “I congratulate the team of the film. It is brilliant on content, treatment, execution and the performances, especially Paresh Rawal. “
