In yet another initiative, Bank of Baroda under Corporate Social Responsibility, entered into an MOU with National Handicapped Finance & Development Corporation (NHFDC) at Bank’s Corporate Office at Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
The MOU facilitates Bank of Baroda in its endeavors towards extending financial assistance to individuals with more than 40% physical disability to set up own business ventures and also for education at cheaper interest rates i.e.  from 4 to 8 % p.a.
Initially, the Bank plans to finance eligible borrowers under the scheme in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and subsequently, to extend the same pan India.
