Central Bank of India revises interest rates

Central Bank of India has revised interest rates (Tax Free) on FCNR-B Deposits. The Bank now offers interest of  2.84 % for  USD Deposit of  1 Year to  less than  2 Years, 3.83 % for USD Deposit of  5 Years, 4.04 % for GBP Deposit of  5 Years, 3.78 % for EURO Deposit of  5 Years, 4.69 % for CANADIAN DOLLAR Deposit of  5 Years  & 6.30 % for  AUSTRALIAN  DOLLAR Deposit of  5 Years.

Oman Tourism Launches New “www.experienceoman.com” website

The website was lau nched under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture during a gala dinner that was hosted on the sidelines of the 2nd UNWTO/UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture that was recently held in Muscat. Lubaina Sheerazi, India Representative, Ministry of Tourism, Oman said, “ The launch of the website comes as a part of the Ministry's initiatives to support the development of the tourism sector in all areas, especially in the use of electronic platforms and digital marketing. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
