Mandhana Industries bags exclusive license of Being Human



Eight more outlets to be added in India by March 2013

Mumbai 17th Jan 2013:  Six months ago, the ‘Being Human’ fashion line was successfully launched in the world’s fashion capital Paris, through the shop-in-shop concept across 100 stores. This was followed by a massive launch of a 120 stores across Middle-East through fashion and lifestyle retailers Splash and Iconic of Landmark group. The royalties received on the sale of this fashion line will go to support the education and healthcare initiatives of the Foundation.

Manish Mandhana serves as the Managing Director at Mandhana Industries Limited. He is also the director for 4 other group companies. With an educational background in Commerce and textiles in his veins, being the third generation in the business,Manish has been leading the 6000+ member organization for over 20 years. In his leadership,MandhanaIndustries Ltd. has become a key player in the Indian Textile and apparel Industry. From a modest turnover of INR 60cr in FY2002, is set to reach a projected turnover of 1300crores for FY 12-13, with an asset base of INR700cr.

Manish’s keen understanding of Fashion, eye for detail and passion to excel has won over many a client and made him a recognized name among the players in the European fashion Industry. His involvement in the product development is to the extent where the product readily markets itself.  His warmth as a human being and value of human relationships has helped forge long lasting bond with his business partners, many of whom continue to do business with the company for over 15 years.

The women’s and children’s lines will be launched in March.

In a unique licensing arrangement with Being Human-The Salman Khan Foundation, Mandhana Industries has brought out a clothing line with a heart where royalties from the clothing line support education and healthcare initiatives of the Foundation.
