Shri S S Mundra assumes charge as CMD of Bank of Baroda

Shri S. S. Mundra assumed the charge as Chairman & Managing Director of Bank of Baroda, today, in terms of Government of India notification.  He was hitherto the Executive Director of Union Bank of India.  Prior to his elevation as Executive Director of Union Bank of India, he was General Manager of Bank of Baroda.
Having joined Bank of Baroda as Probationary Officer in 1977, he has an illustrious career over three decades.  Holding wide range of responsibilities in Domestic as well as International Operations of the Bank, he rose to the rank of General Manager.
Shri Mundra brings with him diverse experience in Treasury, International Operations, Credit and held key leadership positions as Zonal Head of Maharashtra & Goa Zone.  He headed Bank’s UK Operations for a period of over 3 years, bringing cross border experiences to the Bank.  Board Management, Investor Relationship and maintaining capital efficiency are his forte.
