ArrayShield’s IDAS 2FA Strengthens Remote Werkplek’s Cloud Offerings

Chennai :   ArrayShield, the provider of innovative pattern based two factor authentication products, has implemented their IDAS 2FA solution at Remote Werkplek in Netherlands. This has been bundled with its more popular ‘Remote Workplace’ offering which basically is a remote access solution over cloud. The IDAS 2FA provides strong authentication and secures the remote access through its world class technology of providing dynamic passwords at every login time. This secures the information being publicly accessible by intruders.

Remote Werkplek is based out of Netherlands. They provide innovative secure remote workstation facilities for small and medium organizations reducing the burden of maintenance, support and installation etc. for the end users. Remote Werkplek has launched a new Remote Workplace offering to provide remote workstation facilities with industry standard hardware and software solutions. They have fully redundant server setup in multiple data center that can provide high quality of service to their end customers. Their offering includes remote access to windows servers through RDWeb interface as well as outlook web access.

Remote Werkplek were looking for a solution that offers industry level security, solution is easily configurable with RDWeb, Microsoft Outlook Web Access Protocol and is cost effective, so that they can offer it to all their users. ArrayShield IDAS delivered robust Two Factor Authentication Solution that met all customer needs. ArrayShield IDAS provides a second layer of user authentication in addition to the normal username and password login procedure, which is a standard feature of the RDWeb, Microsoft Outlook Web Access. Before users are allowed access to the remote server, email they must enter a unique Secret-Code derived from the ArrayShield IDAS technology.

The Secret-Code is generated through the combination of a pattern that each user remembers and an ArrayCard (credit-card sized translucent card) that the user carries with them. This simple process ensures that only authorized personnel are able to access the system and protects users’ identities from being intercepted or stolen.
