Bank of Baroda Launches 'Agri –LAPS' Software  (Agri Lending Automation & Processing System ) for farmers 2012 at Lucknow

Shri. P. Srinivas, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda launched Bank’s Agri-LAPS (Agri Lending Automation & Processing System), during a function organized in Lucknow. Agri–LAPS is a software devised for quicker processing of Agricultural loan proposals by branches. This system will help the farmers, particularly from remote rural areas as even the photograph of the borrower will be captured by the branch itself. The application form along with security documents will be generated from the system. The branches will be able to process large number of loan applications within minimum time during the peak agricultural season. On this occasion Shri. Srinivas also addressed Bank’s senior officials on the impact of revised guidelines of RBI on Priority Sector Lending.

Oman Tourism Launches New “www.experienceoman.com” website

The website was lau nched under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture during a gala dinner that was hosted on the sidelines of the 2nd UNWTO/UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture that was recently held in Muscat.
