Navi Mumbai, May 25, 2016:  Navi Mumbai has emerged as one of the most vibrant centres of trade and industry with a large base of industries, especially medium and small scale in the area of Engineering, Chemicals, IT, Spice & Agro products, Pharma, Textile, Hospitality, Oil & Lubricants, etc.  There is an IT SEZ in Navi Mumbai and the area is quite close to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port as well as the upcoming international airport.  The Government of Maharashtra has chosen Navi Mumbai to be developed as a smart city.Indian Merchants’ Chamber organizes Conference on “Navi Mumbai : Engine of Resurgent Maharashtra” on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 4.30 pm onwards at Hotel Fortune Select Exotica, Palm Beach Road, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.  

Considering the importance of this area, IMC is organizing a Conference on “Navi Mumbai : Engine of Resurgent Maharashtra” During the Conference, issues facing the industry, trade and smart cities will be deliberated to arrive at solutions which would help the city overcome problems and become prosperous.
