Massage gently for 15 minutes, recommended. 2) Apply 5 to 10 ml drops of oil in a pan. 3) Warm the poultice in the same pan at a moderate heat. 4) Apply the warm poultice on the affected area using gentle strokes for around 5-10 minutes. There are certain precautions which also have to be kept in mind before using the poultice. One should take care to not to overheat the oil and one has to keep in check the temperature of the poultice at the same time before application in the affected area to avoid scalding.

The Kairtis application mainly produces oiliness to the joints. The Kolakulathadi Choorna helps the oils penetrate easily to the joint and gives a good action against pain & swelling
