Sanghvi Parrsssva Group Organises Special Desktop Yoga Sessions for its team

The world comes together to celebrate
International Yoga Day on June 21, the longest day of the year in the Northern
Hemisphere. Since its inception in 2015, the day is celebrated all over the
globe, with special public sessions in all parts of India. Taking ahead the
spirit of yoga, with all its peace and powers, is the Sanghvi Parrsssva group
that conducted a special yoga session for all its employees in its Mumbai
office. Sanghvi Parrsssva group’s “Seema Sanghvi Welfare Foundation” organised
a special session on ‘Desktop Yoga’ for all employees last evening.
In today’s busy lives, not everyone has
the time to spend an hour or so practising yoga. With hours spent in travelling
to work and hectic schedules, health often takes a backseat. Keeping this in mind
Mr. Ramesh Sanghvi, the Chairman & Managing Director of Sanghvi Parrsssva
Group of Companies invited a special trainer who thought their employees simple
yoga steps that can be done at their work desk itself. It’s an initiative
towards the betterment and well-being of their employees. The Desktop Yoga
session was something that the entire staff was looking forward to and
participated with great enthusiasm.

Managing Director – Sanghvi Parrsssva Group of Companies, “We believe yoga is a
way of life, not just a one day celebration. Which is why we brought in one of
India’s top yoga practioners to show us special asanas that are practical for
the modern professional while at their work desks. The health and wellbeing of

their health, lies ours. We hope to help them experience the benefits of yoga
designed for the contemporary life. We thank our employees for their

wonders of yoga, all year through!” Desktop Yoga is designed for those who
have little time but still want to remain committed to a health regimen. These
are simple asanas that one can do at home or even at the work desk. The
one-hour session was a huge success, bringing together the Sanghvi Parrsssva
family to take a step towards their holistic wellbeing. In attendance were
employees from all its departments. Other than supporting various social
causes, the group undertakes several other employee benefit programs under the
“Seema Sanghvi Welfare Foundation” that helps maintain a positive work
environment that allows everyone to grow together.
