Dublin to host T20 International series between India and Ireland

Mumbai, 26 June , 2018: After a gap of over ten years, the Indian cricket team will tour Ireland for a T20 International series scheduled for the end of this month. The first T20 cricket match will take place on June 27 while the second will be held on June 29. Both the matches will be held in Malahide, Dublin. It is the first time that the two teams will meet on Irish soil since they played an ODI in Belfast in 2007.
The matches will be streamed on Sony Six at 8.30 pm IST. Former Indian cricketer, Mr Ajay Jadeja will be the commentator for the matches. Jadeja will have an opportunity to experience the best of Irish hospitality by touring around the elegant city of Dublin. He will be visiting famous attractions like Malahide Castle, Ha’-Penny Bridge, Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens, Guinness Store House, Kilkenny Castle and get an experience of the island of Ireland. Speaking on the occasion, HE Brian McElduff, Ambassador of Ireland to India, said, “This is the first-ever initiative where Tourism Ireland and Cricket Ireland have joined hands to celebrate the beautiful game of cricket and promote the beautiful island of Ireland. We are proud to be a part of this significant event and hope this occasion will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.”
