Gauri Malhotra Narang – the face behind many well appreciated and acknowledged international brand launches in India, showcased her own private label GMN for the very first time through a very intimate and exclusive preview between her clique of amis et famille. GMN resurrects the concept of a limited edition bijouterie, much like it was before jewellery started being mass-produced.
The lazy Sunday afternoon did not stop jewellery junkies of tinsel town from stepping across to Gauri’s plush South Bombay residence. Nestled in a vintage structure of 1930’s and dressed in contemporary French décor, the venue reflected the colours of the brand.
Everything from the invitations, the entrées to the swish furnishings was a beautiful ensemble of black and white. The space that exhibited the finely crafted jewels was yet another state of the art affair with its classic interiors and symphony of lights.
Sparkling rosé champagne coupled with an assortment of savory and sweet bits kept spirits high as the guests poured in their good words and wishes for the high-fashion jewellery pieces by GMN.
Husband - Mikhil Narang welcomed some of the celebrity faces - all family to Gauri Malhotra Narang including Shriya Saran, Manasi Scott, Narayani Shastri, Riyaaz Amlani and Kiran Chaudhry Amlani, Anjali Mody, Pheroza and Jamshyd Godrej, Remu and Naaz Javeri, Jitu Savlani, Asha Patel, Pammi and Rowena Baweja, Raj Shetye and Ashish Sajnani.
Delighted with the overwhelming response to this avant-garde event, founder and creative evangelist of GMN Gauri says “For me Jewellery is identity revealed in style! I am very excited with the amazing response to my passion project GMN. It is something I have wanted to do for a very long time.
