Wipro Consumer Care Launches Giffy Dishwash Gel in Maharashtra

Maharashtra : Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting has launched
Giffy concentrated Dish Wash Gel in Maharashtra. The state is the largest
market for dishwashing liquids in India
and is growing at a healthy pace.
After a successful test launch, Wipro Consumer
Care is now expanding the brand to other states in the country. Commenting
on the launch, Mr. Anil Chugh, Chief Executive, Consumer Care – India, Wipro
Consumer Care & Lighting, said, “Dishwash
segment is shifting from bars to liquids.
It is today a fast-growing segment among
dishwashing formats, riding on attributes such as urbanization and convenience.
We recognize consumer needs are dynamic and Giffy
is ideal for consumers of urban households.” The dishwash gel market is estimated to be about INR
4000 Million. Giffy is priced at Rs. 20 for
150ml (Pouch), Rs. 45 for 250ml (Bottle), Rs. 105 for 500 ml (Bottle) and Rs.
155 for 750 ml (Bottle). Powered with the unique properties of Active Salt, it is
available in two fresh fragrances - Green lime & Lemon. Giffy helps in residue-free
cleaning, leaving utensils sparkling clean. The natural ingredients in Giffy
makes it effective even on tough stains but gentle on the hands.
